We had a particularly harsh winter a few years back and Amy complained of split ends on her long waistlength hair at the end of the season. To remedy it, we went along to several hair saloon centers looking for serums or conditioners to save her beautiful hair. We were recommended the Advanced Repair Serum for Damaged Ends by Kerastase Nutritive (a saloon product of L’oreal). At first we thought it was a little expensive, costing as it was 12 pounds a bottle. But when she went home and tried it out, wow, was it worth it!
Basically you just apply the serum to your hair, especially the ends after you have washed and dried your hair, and as the serum is very thick a little goes a long way. My girlfriend was absolutely ecstatic about the results as it not only stopped her hair from splitting, it made her hair so soft and shiny that we both couldn’t stop touching it the first two weeks she used the product. She said she never realized how soft her hair could feel.
So to everyone out there who is interested in getting their split ends eliminated and add some shine and softness into their hair, this product works like a dream! It does cost a bit more than the normal serums you get on the shelves in Boots or Superdrugs, but as a bottle can last you about three months and as the results are so spectacular, it is definitely worth it!
Now I would like to inform you how good Kerastase hair repair serum is for colored or permed hair. My stylist who’s a qualified hairdresser and have been for 15 years said to me “I see allot of people with hair like straw and its impossible to comb it through when its wet. “With the hair repair serum a few squirts massaged into wet hair enables hair to be combed through without dragging half of it out. This is a must to buy for people with colored or permed hair. The only problem i find with this product is that it is quite expensive to buy and the bottle is quite small but in my opinion it is very good value for money.”
Have you ever tried this repair serum? What other repair products you use? Let us know if they worth their value!
