Spring Hairstyle Trend – Jenny Packham S/S 2013 Bridal Show- Get The Look

I just wanted to share the steps the hairstylist took to create the beautiful low side bun for Jenny Packham’s Bridal Show. The hairstyle was a fresh take on a classic chignon and wearable for everyday:

Overall Look: A whimsical low side-bun with softly crimped texture

Hair Inspiration: The collection had a modern-vintage aesthetic so Jeanie created a fresh take on the classic chignon

To recreate this romantic and ethereal style, follow these tips from TRESemmé Lead Stylist Jeanie Syfu.

How-To Steps:

Apply Climate Control Foaming Mousse on damp hair and power dry on high heat using a flat brush
Make a deep side-part and create a few random braids on the heavier side of the part, along the hairline and crown.  Spray each braid with 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray and fasten with small elastics
Use a flat iron to set the braids by running it along the length to create a natural crimped texture
While the braids are cooling, use a curling iron to create soft loose waves throughout the rest of the hair
Undo the braids and run fingers throughout, loosely pulling hair into a low ponytail to the opposite side of the part, behind the ear
Loosely pin the length into a bun and spray with 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray for a soft and touchable finish
