Here comes the summer, bringing with it a breeze of freshness and light makeup. If you’re oblivious to nude makeup trends until yet, it’s high time that you do yourself a favour of updating yourself and give up on your age-old bold colors that are stacked so neatly in your makeup palette.

Summer 2012 is all about giving your skin a breather from too much of unnecessary colors, but still exuding the air of style and sophistication by applying just the basics, i.e the typical concealer, primer, and foundation. Yes, that’s all!

It may not sound very convincing at first, but you have to believe that passing on the idea of styling fancy chignons and hair braids, this summer, can be no less than styling blasphemy!

Considering the mix of simplicity and oozing sensuality that the nude look tries to convey, it is quite a common occurrence that many women are unable to get this look right, very easily.

It is common for women to go wrong with their eye makeup textures and colors when trying to flaunt their elegant nude look. Sure, it can be tempting to put on colors, seeing how beautiful they look in the palette. But the challenge with this ravishing, new nude trend is to emulate the complete look by using just the matt nude shades of browns and beiges.

No girl next door can swiftly contour her face with beiges from Maybelline products and define her eyes with all brown shades only. Practice often pays though, finally giving them the credit for their extraordinary and scintillating classic beauty that they really are!

Another striking feature of nude make-up is an attempt to profess a bit sickly and week look. Although this may not be exactly what we’re aiming for, so counteract this pale look with a handy blush-on in the shade of soft peach-pink. A dash of the light swirl that adorns the apples of your cheeks is just perfect.

Embellish your lips with the chocolate brown creamy milk shade for the much-needed oomph. The lipsticks in Full chocolate and Mocha shades are your best picks, for this. This color also works great in hiding the uneven stained lips.

The soft sheen bronzer will sculpt your cheekbones well that gives it the effect of healthy radiance in the day time, especially in the tropical climate. Do not forget to add the touch of bronze or metallic gold eye shadow towards the middle of your eyelids.

Instead of going for the usual black eyeliner, let surgical tape lift your heavy eyelids. Keep your brows light as you brush on over the face foundation. The slight accent of the earthy red around the corner of the eyes will give the hint of fearsome attitude.

Finally, keep it real and minimal, and instruct your hairstylist for a funky, sleek hairstyle to complete the look.
