Mixing colors of a all-in-one color cosmetic system is a interesting idea and as we can see in this tutorial, there is more to it .This system allows us to create our custom cosmetic line with products we already use by simply adding a natural mineral powder which doesn’t contain any chemicals or harmful additives. It’s great that you don’t to have use chemicals that might affect your skin, but still have the chance to try new shades, even to create unique effects.

I don’t know about the lasting power of the eyeliner obtained by combining mineral powder with water. After seeing this video I really want to try that shimmery body bronzer. It looks do good on her skin!
I made a research for you about Mica and it’s effect on skin and found out that like many other minerals, mica is used for a long time in professional makeup industry.

A group of minerals having perfect basal cleavage and capable of splitting into thin laminae is called mica.In Latin it is known as micare which mean to shine or to glitter.A group of sheet silicates that can be parted into flexible plates. Also known as mica family.

Other names of Mica:

Cat-gold
Cat-silver Mica
Glimmer
Glist
Katen-silber
Katzen-silber
Katzengold
Or des chats
Rhomboidal Mica

Here is what professionals from Emani say about Mica:

“Mica is a transparent mineral which is mined from the earth. It can be opalescent and sparkling or completely matte, ranging in color from grey to blue to green. It is often treated with iron oxides to yield brilliant color effects. Due to the sheer, translucent and skin-hugging effect of the mica mineral, your natural skin tone shines through when you use our blush, foundation powders or eye shadows. All of our cosmetics contain mica powder, which reflects light from the face, creating an illusion of a smoother, softer and more radiant skin tone. Fine lines are softened; skin texture appears more even and more lucid and it is weightless on your skin, it is the new natural science of beautiful skin. “

If you’ve already used Colorevolution mineral powder, please share your experience with us.I am sure it will be fun for all of us to create and use new colors and shades that perfectly match our skin tones.
