Blackberry Makeup Look

Makeup BH

My first Pink & Black Makeup Look was inspired by BeautyHobby’s colors. I’ve created it to express 2 different attitudes and as a way change looks as quickly as my mood often does. How to Tutorial is to create Blackberry Hood and transform it into Blackberry  Geisha with just one touch up. Let’s start with Blackberry Hood (presented in pic’s upper side):

First of all I applied a quick foundation using only liquid foundation from L’oreal Accord Parfait Rose Vanilla. Then with my MAX Factor eye liner sharpen, I drew a fine black contour of the upper lid following the waterline. At the outer corner I stopped in a small bold V shape contour.

As base eyeshadow shade I used by MAC Romping applied all over the lid.

TIP! MAC eyeshadow look bolder if you apply an eye powder binder or as I did this time if you damp you brush in simple water. But, using water the powder became too heavy and my shin started to wrinkle. That’s why I used my finger to dry it quicker and blend it gaining the smooth, even look back. Over first eyeshadow I redone the waterline contour, this time outlining the outer corner edge, but not crossing over the V contour.
Then  I used  MAC Carbon matte eyeshadow to fill the V shape contour and to create a triangle fading over inner half of the eye. I didn’t need any blending because my pink layer was so still by using binder then a simple press at this edge done it for me.

Now is the part when I create a sliver-white path using MAC Rondelle up to the brows but not meeting them. And highlighting all inner corner and half of down lid.
On a well-finger-distributed lid primer ‘bed’, I applied matte black Carbon again, as a straight line  starting from my outer corner (father that v shape and intersecting it) till very close to the eyebrow start (inner corner). I applied a thick layer using 230 brush from MAC not pressing but creating a what I call hood line ending oblige on top of the highlighting area.

At Blackberry Hood I didn’t used any mascara as you can notice in my pics because I wanted you to see trough them. Also my brows are naked. This was my decision because I like wearing my natural something on my eyes with bold makeup, but you can use a brow kit to make them look perfect shape. I recommend you Smashbox  Brow Tech or any of their kits

For the cheeks I used a face contour brush to apply only a strike of pink blush: Dior Poudre Dentelle (Powder Lace) of my higher cheeks and down to the face contour in a thin faded line.

I simply wiped using foundation brush the oblique hood’s edge. Then I’ve put The Colossal Volum Express Mascara only on the front side of my eyelashes, to sweeten the look and make my face smile and eyelashes bat. :)

Here are Blackbery G photos after just one minute touch up:
