I recived my Lipcote “The Original Lipstick Sealer” one week ago and I’ve done two tests. One is the test of time and second test was Lipcote waterproof, eating resistance.
How to use: If you use lip contur pen, make your lip countur and apply lipstick. If is a creamy lipstick , blot with tissue. Your lips must be dry before appling Lipcote for lasting results. brush a thin line around the lip line, before brushing it evenly all over your lipstick. You will feel the tingle when you apply because the formula is alcohol based.
Very important: Allow it to dry completely avoiding eating, drinking and keeping your lips apart for 15 minutes.Don’t use it on sore,cracked,chapped lipsor if the tinggling sentation persists.
Tips:
- Wipe brush clean in atisssue and quickly seal the bottle so it doesn’t evaporate.
- As drier the lipstick is when you apply Lipcote as longer you will have it on your lips.
- Lipcote peels when applied on wet lipstick.
- You can apply 2 Lipcote layers if you like, but leave to dry first for great results.(Do not add lipstick on the sealer).
I’ve tested it o this strong color. For my first test I’ve putted Lipcote before going to lunch. I was very careful following the usage instrictions and let it set for 15 minutes. Here’s how it look when you first apply like over the lipstick(MAC Rozz Revival) , hope you like my swatches:
It resisted fine, because I was careful eating and eat no grease or hot food. It forms a thin coat on your lips and it can peel putting it in contact with hot driks of food. You can wear it safely on a business lunch without worrying that you’ll look like you forgot to put your lipstick over lip pen. Then I’ve tested it in the evening from 6 P.M. till morning only drinking watter to see how long it stays . When I woke up my lipstick looking the same as after having lunch wearing it.
My result is positive, the only bad thing I come up with is that it dries your lips if you use it frequent. I would recommend it to smoother, fuller lips than mine. Great lips, great lasting power…
