As you all know spa experiences are very relaxing, but also a health spring for our skin. With constant exposure to pollution, the sun’s UV rays, make-up, and free radicals we deprive our skin of the nutrients it needs to be healthy. If you agree it isn’t just a whim, you’ll consider at-home spa an alternative to spa visits. I’ve tested two more incredibly relaxing recipes (based on my spa visits experience) and now it’s time to share it with you. But you must first promise me to at least try to convince your partner to join you (just to make it unforgettable)

1.Shower Time:
Body Exfoliation
Ingredients:
- 1 handful of oat cereals
- 1 spoon of powder milk
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 6 drops of essential oil
- 1 spoon of bath salt.My recommendation: Dermalogica Hydro-Active Mineral Salts 1 oz
($2.5/10 oz $24.00) available at Greatskin.com

Revigorating Hair Mask
Ingredients:
- 2 egg yolks
- 6 drops of lavender oil
- 2 tots of castor oil
Blend all body-scrub he ingredients to make a creamy paste. For the hair mask you must whisk the eggs into a bowl, then gradual add the oils, till you get a mayo. Now, you and your partner can apply the hair mask to each other’s dry hair using a hair brush. After 10 minutes you can use the body- scrub. It has a thick consistence, so hard friction is not necessary. You can massage it onto your skin using sensual, circular moves. Use your regular shampoo and conditioner to remove hair mask and enjoy your shower! I guarantee, you and your skin will be happier than ever!
2. Sweet Hidratation Bath:
Ingredients:
- 1 handful of detox bath salt. My recommendation: Abra Cellular Detox Salt Glow
10 oz ($11.99) available at drugstore.com
- 1 glass of milk
- 10-15 drops of essential peppermint oil or rosemary oil (considered aphrodisiacs)
- 2 cups of honey
Pour the first three ingredients into your bathtub while filling it with warm water (hot bath bed can induce sleep). Before getting into the tub, rub each other with honey all over your body (the body temperature should melt the honey, if not use some water before applying it). When your body is fully covered in honey you may step into the tub. A part of it will immerse in the water, adding a wholesome effect to the other ingredients. Now it’s an excellent moment for a reciprocal neck and nape massage….
My boyfriend said he looks gay after all this dabbling. This translates into: ‘my skin is glowing and I really love it, but I’ll never try your recipes four days in a row’ =))
Love to hear from you!
