Some of you know I’m in a business mission to a NPP for a long period. It took a while, but although my heart was telling me not to, I finally decided to leave. I’ve promised you to tell you about my shopping for the departure. So, voila!
I asked myself what should I pack and although this time I didn’t had a specific shopping-list, I tried the sadness shopping cure. I’m always distracted when I am out looking for a specific fabric or model, matching accessories, raving about what I’m looking for with anyone interested :)
Most of the time here I have to wear office clothes, but since there are some periodic field visits I will make casual wear is permitted beside the standard equipment (boots and this funny protective helmet :) ) I am not used to wear sweaters and generally warm clothes, but here the weather is colder than I’m used to and the power plant is evidently near a river so I had to adapt my outfits a little…

I was looking for a white army jacket (because black and white is a trendy combination and this non-colors work in my advantage and I the coincidence made to go home with this Trendy Punk Button Up Japan Military Jacket available at chick.com for only $59.95.Check out the description, see if you like it, and I guarantee you it’s warm and cozy :)

My new belt looks allot like Vince Leather Belt, but it’s black.

Guess Riviera Large Tote

Narciso Rodriguez Perfume (one of my favs)

MAC Green gel cleanser

DONDUP Jeans

Whim black cashmere tuxedo jacket

Classiques Entier Tie Front Shirt

That’s All Folks. The budget was gone. I found some great shopping places here, but that’s another story…

Purchasing things, mostly like makeup or a cute shirt, make me happier, too.

I always go shopping when I am sad, not good for my purse, but I feel distracted then.
I usually buy some skin/hair care or makeup so I can play around with that and changing my look always makes me feel better!

I wonder if depressed people spend a lot more money to distract themselves.

  9. KittiChai Says:

good thought! well I think depressed people might have the disposition to easily get addicted to something

  10. rory Says:

Yes, they certainly could get addicted to shopping, alcohol or gambling. :(

I think this quote brings it to the point:
“Whoever said money can’t buy happiness simply didn’t know where to go shopping. 2
