Maintaining our body hydrated, over the long time, is important to prevent losing skin’s elasticity and ‘loose skin’. I’ve newer been a weight-stable person (I gained 4 pounds this holiday season which I’ve scheduled to loose until the end of the next month ). Although age is claimed to be a factor that reduces skin elasticity, many cases of ‘loose skin” are found in relatively young people who have lost weight. I am happy not having ‘loose skin’ and I want to keep it this way. So, I have constant need for a moisturizing body lotion. Few months ago I had this enlightened moment where I realized that my moisturizing body lotion became ‘addictive’. Have you ever stopped using a skin moisturizer only to experience an episode in which your skin actually became drier than it was before you started using it? I did!
So, while I had the ‘moisturizer break’ my skin got very dry and itchy. Looking for vitamins and supplements to improve my skin moisture and elasticity (thinking the cause might be a nutrients lack of balance), I ran into a “shielding lotion” called Skin MD Natural. Where to begin to describe it?
I could rhapsodize myself hoarse about this stuff. First, you have a dry skin treatment (containing aloe vera, Vitamin E, Chamomile and many other ingredients) for eczema, psoriasis and dry skin caused by thyroid malfunctions. I advice you to read what some doctors have to say about shielding lotions.
This product not only improves dry skin condition, but is claimed to act like an ‘invisible shield’ that keeps moisture-robbing irritants out while helping to retain your skin’s own natural moisture, resulting in skin that is far better hydrated, over the long term.
As body moisturizer and it does wonders to my skin. Being a dry skin treatment it has no added fragrance. Though it has a very light, natural fresh smell…
Skin MD Natural retails for $25 (4 oz) a jar, and you can save %25 buying a case of 12 bottles. And isn’t it totally worth the price? I recommend it to all people!

Here is what Dr. Peter Helton, a board-certified dermatologist from Newport Beach California explains:
“A shielding lotion like Skin MD combines the medication with a sealant that keeps irritants out and helps the skin heal. So we get faster results and the patient has to use less medication. Hands down, a shielding lotion works better than any conventional cream.”
Since so many factors affect why a person develops eczema, a treatment plan that helps heal the lesions in just a few days is a real breakthrough.I advice you to try it!

That sounds good!
Like a cure for your skin.
I have dry skin especially in winter, do you know any other things that I could do to prevent my skin from running dry?

KittiChai, my skin is also dry in the winter.
To improve its’ hydration, put on lotion a couple minutes after the shower. That way your skin is still moist, so it will seal in moisture.

I don’t like to lotion my skin in the winter because than I have to stay naked for a few minutes which transforms me into an icecube

I put my lotion on in the bath room, and the heat stays trapped in there because of the hot water, so I keep warm.

Saunas make me feel bad too! They’re too hot and make me tired.
