Fusion Beauty presents GlowFusion Face & Body Natural Protein Tan as a revolutionary self-tanning mist. It is very interesting that is a clear formula which claims to leave no stains, no streaks and to last two weeks without fading. Here is what Fusion Beauty says about it:
“Pure sugarcane-derived formulas work with your skin’s natural keratin proteins to create your perfect, customized shade of glow-every time, all the time. GlowFusion is a completely odor-free, stain-free, and streak-free, with a crystal-clear mist that dries immediately, evenly, perfectly. Breakthrough micro-nutrient technology delivers powerful antioxidants to boost skin’s inherent, sexy lit-from-within luminosity.”

Application: micro-vaporized mist applies evenly; dries instantly
Recommendation: good for all skin tones
Available
colors: light and medium

They should call it ‘Intrigue’, cuz I’m thinking to buy it just to see why this product is different from other self tanners and what makes it lasts so long (none I used so far lasts more than a week). How can we keep the first skin layer for so long if we don’t use it regularly as a moisturizer? Can this tanner penetrate more skin layers than others? If so, can the ingredients harm your skin?

If you click the ’sugested usage’ button on GlowFusion Tan you can read: ‘For maximum and prolonged results, use with GlowFusion Micro-Nutrient Face & Body Natural Protein Tan Enhancing Emulsion’. So the next step is would be to buy the Micro-Nutrient Face & Body Natural Protein Tan Enhancing Emulsion, which you will have to ‘apply regularly’ after applying GlowFusion Tan for maximum hydration . More over, the emulsion has ‘a little bit of the DHA(dihydroxyacetone- a glycerin derived chemical that interacts with the amino acids in skin cells to produce a color change). Meaning? We practically have to regularly use a coloring moisturizer. And last answer would be: ‘a little bit’ of DHA will not harm your skin more than other tanner and they say it’s dermatologist recommended.

Conclusion? A good marketing strategy for two products I would buy just to see if they have a better result (in time), than a single one. :)

Price:$58 (5oz) + $40 (5oz) hmmm….

Have you tried any of these? Let me know what you think!

I’m really excited to see if this product can carry my summer glow into winter.

  3. KittiChai Says:

does anyone know a self-tanner that will give you a rose-tan and not an orange-tan?

  4. rory Says:

It really depends on your skin tone. If you’re really pale, any tanner will make you orange. But a tanner I’ve seen good results with was the one from Jergens.

ok no tanning for me then :(

  6. KittiChai Says:

sometimes I like to be pale, but it will make me look ill when wearing no makeup, too!

I’m really white too. I hate it.I want to be tan.

  8. rory Says:

I hate it when tanners leave streaks.

  9. KittiChai Says:

    that’s why I don’t tan anymore!

  10. rory Says:

Here is a tip against streaking- exfoliate before you apply the tanner.

  11. rory Says:

And I heard milk can take away the early stages of streaking!

I read that many people use some kind of plastic gloves to apply the tanning product to their skin, this might help too to get even coverage!
