My HomeSpaAppointments to your local Spa almost became a habit? In my case this habit became a little too expensive… So, if I have some experience why shouldn’t I enjoy my spa expertise at home? I’m sure my boyfriend will also enjoy it, so I have some shopping to do and surprise him :) Not you though… I’ll let you my dear readers know all recipes I gathered from my spa visits (with some personal changes) so you’ll have the chance to enjoy it in your own bath.

1.Face and hair:
A refreshing Treatment For Your Scalp combined with a Skin Calm Facial Mask beats anytime a whole day spent to your cosmetician. Here what you need to know for visible results:

Ingredients :

Start by covering your hair with a wet warm towel, then apply your facial mask, which will have a nutritive, cleansing effect. Next step is to mix the peppermint oil with conditioner. Massage it onto your scalp performing fast, circular friction. After a couple of minutes, gently pull your hair to stimulate the nerve terminations of the scalp. This is an unpainful procedure if is done correctly: put your fingers trough your hair and gently slip them out to the ends. After 10 minutes you’re ready to take a shower and you can also remove the mask using warm water. I suggest you to double the quantities and share this experience with your partener. I am sure he wouldn’t say no to 15 minutes of relaxation and you need him for faze two:

My bath

My tub

2.Sensual massage:
By combining the Foot Massage with Back Massage the result is a complete relaxation. Here what you need to know for best results:

Products:

Start with the foot massage. If you are giving a foot massage to your partner than ensure that the massage foot is comfortably reclined on a pillow or a sofa. If you treating yourself to a foot massage than find a comfortable chair or sofa and put your foot on your lap.Rub some massage oil in your palms. Hold the foot in your hands and begin to massage the top surface of the foot. Use your thumbs in a slow, firm stroking motion, starting at the toes and moving up to the ankle. Once you have reached the ankle follow the same line back to the toes. Make sure you apply lighter pressure towards the toes than the ankle. Repeat this 5 times and then perform the same technique to the sole of the foot. At the end use the wet towels to remove the excess oil and the skin will remain soft and silk.
Use a smooth, delicate stroke to apply massage oil. In one long stroke, slide your palms down either side of the spine to the pelvis; scoop out around the hips and back up the sides to the shoulders. Maintain contact with the back. Glide your hands over the back to start a new area.Continue up both sides of the neck to the base of the head. Start at the spine and slide your palms in opposite directions outward to the sides of the back, starting with the lower back area and moving up to the shoulders. Use your thumbs or fingers to apply pressure to areas that feel hard or tight, often called knots. Perform clockwise circular friction with your fingertips along the muscles that are close to the spine and around the shoulder blades. Finish the massage rotating his arms gently, one at a time, to loosen the shoulder joints and enhance blood flow and get ready for the same treatment :)

Next week on Shared Home Spa (Part II )I’ll share with you two more spa experiences:

2.Sweet Hidratation Bath. My favorite!;))

Love you!
