Something everyone should try out is oil cleansing:
you take a good & natural oil and massage it into your face, wait a few minutes and then take a warm and clean towel, press it on your face to open the pores and last step take away the oil with it!

Blackheads are a problem for me also. Regular use of the clear pore strips don’t always do a good job, so I’ve been getting my blacheads removed whenever I go to get facials. The blackheads are literally squeezed out. A painful ordeal but worth it. As far as cleansers are concerned, I like using a gentle exfoliating cleanser from Philosophy. I think my skin has really benefited from it. At night I use M.A.C.’s Green Gel Cleanser which I think does a good job of taking off my makeup.

Hi, I’ve been using L’occitaineDr. Ci La Bo’s Basic Black cleanser, and now I’m using Decleor cleansing gel. I have dry sensitive skin. My problem is, my pores are large and it’s often hard to get rid of black heads even after I cleanse, exfoliate and mask. Perhaps It’s becaue I’ve been so over-zealous with my skin-care regimen that my skin’s natural balance has been thrown off. O, and I’ve also got little baby bumps all over my cheeks. …
What to do?

wow! mayonnaise? i’ve never heard of that. thanks for the recommendation of the olay cleanser… is it cheaper than philosophy cleanser?
