Winter Dresses:Black leggings still IN

promod

I love wearing dresses at work, ar home and in different occasions (especially on holidays). This season’s dresses are totally fun, in retro or romantic styles: lightweight knit, wool, cotton, denim, cashmere, or comfy jersey. We’re all seeing more and more inventive styles, ultra-flattering cuts and killer décolletés in winter dresses these days. They’ve been back in vogue since last year, and I’ve gone head over heels for girly dresses. Another reason for loving it it’s because I can create a complete look with just one piece. :)

You can pair your dress with some killer heels (sandals, platforms) depending if you wear them as part of a casual look or on a night out. Generally, anchoring a dress with substantial footwear looks the most modern.
So does the dress-over-pants thing that is becoming a defining style of the 2000s. You’ll look absolutely fab this winter in a hot fashion dress with a ultra-low rounded neckline and belted on the empire line, as well as in a sophisticated meld of cropped leggings and geometric dress.

If you are looking for a forgiving shape (which the wrap dress is not) there are any number of voluminous dresses that might suggest a baby in the works, would be pretty whether if you’re pregnant or not. :)

Please share what kind of dresses you enjoy wearing this season !Do you find jeans and trousers more comfortable than dress & leggings?
Oh…and stay put ! I have a cosmetics winning contest coming up soon! :)

    3. KittiChai Says:

I love wearing longshirts / oversized pullovers as dresses because I feel warm AND sexy in them!
Unfortunately I can´t wear leggings – my feet got too cold! :D

    4. Maddie Says:

      Hi KittiChai,

    13. Mary Says:

how do you wear two stockings? kittchai?

i buy mines from rave…i like them

    14. rory Says:

Kitti Chai’s wearing of 2 stockings reminds me of an actress (Graziella Massafera, I believe) who would wear lots of jeans in layers to thicken her legs! :p I thought that was funny…

    15. KittiChai Says:

well the only problem I have is to find them large enough… my legs are too long I guess

    16. Mary Says:

you may have too look around for them…it’s hard to find longer leggings..

    17. Maddie Says:

Hey KittiChai, I’ve got it for you!:)
I’ve bought “Long, stretchy leggings” size 2(Fra) by mistake and they’re really long, matte, thin and stretchy. Shipping fee is not to much from France to Germany (reduced and free for next orders). I’ve placed the link for you under “leggings”. Price:9.90 Eur

    18. KittiChai Says:

      Thanks Maddie!!!
We actually have Promod here in Germany, so it won’t be to difficult to get them!!! Yay!!!!

    19. rory Says:

      I don’t have problems finding leggings. After all, I’m only 5’7 1/2.

    20. KittiChai Says:

how much is that in cm?

    21. rory Says:

      like 1.71 or 1.72 I think. =)

    22. KittiChai Says:

      that’s not small!

    23. rory Says:

But compared to some people I know, I’m really short! I know girls 6 feet+++

    24. KittiChai Says:

oh really? I am almost everytime the tallest girl here…

    25. rory Says:

I once wore a backless shirt(kind of backless) w/ black leggings. The short was loose and long but not that long. I also wore flats w/ it. Do you think this sounds bad? Cause people liked it but I felt it didn’t look very good. :/

    26. KittiChai Says:

always wear what you’re comfortable in and try something new sometimes!
I don’t feel good in baggy clothes so I dress feminine even if some people think I am some kind of barbie, you have to live with yourself a life long while other’s don’t have :)

    27. rory Says:

I also don’t like baggy clothes.

    28. rory Says:

Another way to wear leggings is to wear them under shorts.

    29. Alley Says:

I LOVE leggings. Ive had surgery on my legs so I dont like showing off my legs. But i love wearing dresses. Well thanks to leggings I can. And I LOVE THEM.

    30. Richard Says:

Leggings with a dress? Not for work – leggings are simply not formal enough! If you want to wear a dress, hose is best.

    31. Sarah Says:

I went out last night for dinner with my identical twin sister wearing a dress & leggings & killer stiletto sandals then went clubbing. The men at the club could not take stop buying me drinks all night & said how hot we looked. If they only new the real me I am a man & you can’t tell us appart when we are dressed the same.
